Ooty, charm of the Nilgiris, is one of the most beautiful hill stations in south India. Situated within the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in the Western Ghat mountain ranges, both Ooty and Coonoor are almost replica of each other. If there is one archaeological complex that took my heart away it was Hampi. An extraordinary empire of medieval India that rose again like a phoenix, time and again! Situated in the south Indian state of Karnataka, Hampi is quite a marvel. History, heritage, architecture, nature, culture- all packed into a bundle of extravagance.
