Thekkady is a cute little hill station in Idukki district of Kerala. With verdant landscape, a beautiful lake and a vibrant culture, it presents itself as a great monsoon destination. In this article, I would like to share our experience, an experience of a lifetime. Many travel enthusiasts actually know Thekkady for the Periyar National Park, and its Tiger Reserve.

Gagron Fort deserves better as a tourist destination

The only hills-and-water fort in Rajasthan, Gagron was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 as one of the six “Hill forts of Rajasthan”.
