Mountain trekking is always a difficult and time-consuming proposition. But the rewards are great, especially if you are a nature lover. You get the best views of the place, and of course, the excitement of an adventure to go with. Triund peak trekking in Dharamshala this spring was a super exciting experience, especially because we did it with friends. Trips like this make us reaffirm our believe that travel is the essence of life.
Though there are quite a few things to see, and do, essentially Darjeeling is all about tea gardens and magic of the Himalayas. Nestled in the high Himalayan mountains overseeing the Kanchenjunga range bordering Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan, Darjeeling’s location couldn’t be any better.
Dalhousie is simply lovable in all seasons. Its location in the foothills of mighty mountain peaks and laidback life makes it appear like a town sleeping in the lap of the mountains.
Mussoorie has everything that one looks for in a hill station- amazing views, entertainment options and great food. Hill stations have a special charm in the rainy season. The clouds, rain soaked pine trees all around, an all-the-more green look of the hills…it was so charming! Mussoorie will always have a special place in my heart.
